Sidcup Jazz Club has donated £500 to Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice from the sale of jazz CD's.
The Club on Main Road, Sidcup, plays host to Jazz bands from all over the world and Honorary Secretary, Dick Waterhouse, said: "It's really a social club for anyone who enjoys the New Orleans jazz sound. We host different bands every week.
"We chose to support Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice because of the excellent care it provides to local people in our community."
Community fundraiser, Claire Rogers, said: “We are extremely grateful to Dick and all the members at the Sidcup Jazz Club for their continued support and their very generous donation will enable us to continue providing our services free of charge to those that need it most.”
Sidcup Jazz Club meets every Thursday from 7pm at the United Services Club, Main Road, Sidcup. Entry costs £7. For more information, please call Dick Waterhouse on 01322 342 442.
