Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice has launched Light Up A Life 2012, giving people a chance to celebrate the life of their loved ones.

At each service, a Christmas tree will be lit, with every light dedicated in someone’s memory.

The memorial services will be held in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and in Bexley in December. The first is planned for United Reformed Church, Eltham on Wednesday 5th December at 7pm.

Anyone can sponsor a light by making a donation to the Hospice.

The ‘Light up a Life’ trees will be lit during the services and will shine brightly throughout the festive season.

All of the money raised will help Greenwich & Bexley Community to continue to provide its free specialist end of life care for local people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as providing support for their families, friends and carers.
