News Shopper news editor Helen Backway will be doing a skydive in aid of our Demelza House campaign
STAFF at News Shopper usually aren't ones to shirk a challenge, but one employee is taking this philosophy to new heights.
News editor Helen Backway is flying high after deciding to do a skydive in aid of the newspaper's Demelza House campaign to help raise £6.5m for a new children's hospice in Eltham.
The 28-year-old will do a tandem skydive from 10,000ft at Headcorn Aerodrome near Maidstone on February 2.
She said: "I have always wanted to do a skydive and the chance to complete a life's ambition and support this worthy campaign was too good an opportunity to miss.
"Please sponsor me and help raise vital funds for Demelza."
