Cut-price supermarket Aldi has announced it will open in Dartford this week.
The store at the Orchards Shopping Centre will open its doors at 8am on Thursday, June 25.
It is part of the development of the old Waitrose site which is planned to also contain a gym and a Poundland.
To mark the opening, shoppers will be able to sample a selection of Aldi products and a DJ will entertain crowds.

Store Manager Ben Kaila, said: “We are looking forward to the opening of our new store in Dartford and we’re hoping to see plenty of shoppers throughout the morning take advantage of our opening week offers, in addition to our range of products at everyday low prices.”
Aldi’s usual opening hours will be 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
