New Abbey Wood supermarket to create 240 jobs
A new supermarket is set to create 240 jobs in Abbey Wood.
Sainsbury's will open on a 48,000 sq ft site off Harrow Manor Way on July 29.
The store will feature clothing, deli and homeware departments and a 305 space car park.

Local charities Trust Thamesmead, Archway Project, Greenwich and Bexley Hospice, and Neutral Ground Child have been short listed to become the new store's charity partner.
Colin Hope, Project Manager overseeing the build of the store, said: "This is a great development which will without doubt give a boost to the local area.
"We are really looking forward to seeing customers walk through its door and giving us their feedback."
