SCOOBY Doo surprised shoppers when he made an appearance to encourage them to be kinder to animals.
The big dog supported Passive Pressure Animal Welfare Group's stall in High Street, Bromley, on World Animal Day, October 4.
The day celebrates how animals enrich our lives and is a global event, which first began in 1931.
The animal welfare group whose slogan is "working to give the animals a voice" also supported World Farm Animals Day, on October 2.
The theme was Stop The Bull Ship and focused on live cattle exports from the European Union to the Middle East.
West Wickham volunteer Jan Yarker said: "I was shocked to discover my hard-earned taxes are used to subsidise the export of around 200,000 cattle each year."
