DETECTIVES say two sex attacks in one night and another the previous week could be linked.

All three women were targeted in the early hours and gave similar descriptions of the attacker.

At 1.50am on Saturday, a woman got out of a black cab in Oakley Drive, Bromley, when she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted.

The attacker told her he lived nearby and said "you're coming with me".

Just 40 minutes later, a woman was sexually assaulted after getting off a bus in Layhams Road, West Wickham.

The suspect for both is a black man who has a medium build and is about 5ft 9in tall.

Possible ages range from early-20s to mid-30s but police say it is often difficult for victims to judge.

The first woman said he spoke softly, had a chubby face, narrow nose and thin lips and was wearing a beige baseball cap and dark jacket.

The second victim's attacker had a 1in Afro haircut and was wearing a white T-shirt with stitched writing on the front and dark trousers.

One week previously, a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Knoll Rise, Orpington, in similar circumstances.

A Bromley CID spokesman said: "There's nothing specific to link them all, but we're not ruling it out."

Anyone with information should call CID on 020 8284 8763.
