POLICE have charged a 26-year-old man with the murder of Harold Muzeremwi and the attempted murder of another man.
Delaney Barnett, of Baring Road, Grove Park, is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court this morning (October 22) to answer the charges.
Mr Muzeremwi, who was also known as Haych and named locally as Harold Blacks yesterday, was stabbed at a flat in Kingsley Wood Drive at around 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene but they could not save him and the 20-year-old, from Erith, was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
A 24-year-old man, who was also stabbed at the party, was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives are keen to trace a black Volkswagen Golf, registration LV07 FXA, which they believe may be linked to the incident.
Officers suspect it remains somewhere in south-east London.
Anybody with information that could help the murder investigation is asked to call the police on 020 8721 4961.
