Bromley Staffordshire bull terrier attack kills dog
A DOG has died after being attacked by a Staffordshire bull terrier outside a shop.
The horrific incident took place on Saturday around 5.30pm in Freelands Road, Bromley, when the small dog was tied up outside Village Stores and its elderly owners were shopping.
It was attacked by a Staffordshire bull terrier which was unmuzzled and not on a lead at the time.
Its owners took it to the vets where it died.
Police are investigating.
A Freelands Road resident said he was "concerned" about the attack because he has a three-year-old daughter.
He said: "If a dog can attack another dog like that, it could do the same to a child."
