POLICE are appealing for help in finding an 81-year-old man who has gone missing from his home in Bromley.

They are particularly concerned because he needs medication for a heart condition.

George Lister, 81, of Burnt Ash Lane, in Bromley, was last seen on October 9 at 7pm.

A Met Police helicopter and dog units have been helping with the search over the past two nights.

Mr Lister, who uses a walking stick, is described as having a stocky build, short grey hair and is believed to be wearing a green anorak and carrying a black holdall.

He is known to visit the Bromley, Lewisham, and Croydon areas.

There are serious concerns for Mr Lister's welfare due to his age, the fact he requires medication for a heart condition and has been missing for two nights.

Call Bromley police on 020 8284 8859 or Missing People on 116 000.
