A THEMED lunch formed part of a school’s celebration of the European Day of Languages.

Girls at Bromley High School enjoyed boeuf bourguignon, paella, and Black Forest gateau during their unforgettable day.

A quiz for the Year 7 to 11 pupils was just one of the other events which took place at the school in Blackbrook Lane, Bickley, to promote how important it is to learn foreign languages.

Senior deputy headteacher Paula Anderson said: “It was an exciting, fun-packed day, giving girls the opportunity to learn about other European cultures and appreciate a variety of languages. “The European themed lunch went down a treat.”
