Pole dancers to raise money for learning disability dance company Magpie Dance
2:07pm Sunday 23rd September 2012 in Bromley By Robert Fisk
POLE dancers from across the region are coming together for a performance to change people’s perceptions while raising money for a dance company for people with learning disabilities.
The family friendly show So You Think You Know Pole (SYTYKP) will feature performers of all ages and abilities from dance schools, along with amateur and professional pole champions.
They hope to show they are about stamina, strength, beauty and bruises rather than heels and hotpants.
And at the same time they want to raise as much money as possible for Bromley based Magpie Dance.
The event takes place at South East Dance Studios, Egerton Avenue, Hextable, on October 27 from 7pm.
Tickets cost £10 with all profits going to Magpie.
