St Paul's Cray murder accused in court over James Harris-Durkin Orpington Diamond Jubilee barbecue death

James Harris-Durkin died following a Diamond Jubilee celebration barbecue
A MAN accused of murdering a father of three in Orpington appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday (September 19).
Liam Smith, aged 26, formerly of Thorndon Close, St Paul's Cray, was remanded in custody and will next appear at the court on October 1.
He is charged with murdering James Harris-Durkin, who died on June 5 following a Diamond Jubilee celebration barbecue.
Mr Harris-Durkin, 21, was found suffering with a head injury in Court Road, Orpington, at around 3am that day.
Smith is also charged with perverting the course of justice, along with Leanne Turner, aged 25, also of Thorndon Close.
Turner has been granted conditional bail and is also due to appear at the Old Bailey on October 1.
