Mottingham bus death victim named as Margaret Antwi-Nimoh

THE WOMAN who died in Dunkery Road, Mottingham, after being hit by a bus has been named.

Margaret Antwi-Nimoh, aged 64, from Upper Norwood, was hit by a 124 bus as she got out of her car.

She was taken to King’s College Hospital where she later died of chest injuries.

A foster parent of nine years, Ms Antwi-Nimoh was taking one of the children in her care to a medical appointment when the accident happened.

The crash has led to calls from residents for Bromley Council to improve the traffic-calming measures on the stretch of road where the accident took place.

The council is currently reviewing the road.
