A PREGNANT woman had to be taken to hospital last night (September 18) after a crash in Farnborough.

Emergency services were called to the collision between a transit van and a Peugeot 307 in Shire Lane, near High Elms Golf Course, at around 6pm.

Ambulance staff took the 35-year-old woman to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, suffering from a cut knee and a sprained wrist.

Her baby was said to be unharmed.

The road was closed until 9.40pm to allow oil and fuel to be cleared.

I hope the drivers and the unborn baby are OK, as this Road is a Death trap, I dread using this route as it is far too narrow and winding for great speeds, I hope they come up with a plan to make it safer soon, before someone else is killed or very seriously injured.
