PUPILS turned fashionistas for the evening when they staged a fundraising fashion show at their school.

Year 12 girls at Bromley High School, along with boys from nearby schools, modelled clothes from various high street stores.

And 11 members of staff also took to the catwalk during the event at the school in Blackbrook Lane, Bickley, which raised more than £500 for Demelza House hospice.

Bromley High School headteacher Louise Simpson said: “This year's lower sixth did a fantastic job delivering a spectacular fashion show and teachers added a certain something new to the joi de vivre of the evening.

“The girls were fantastic, whether as models, running the technical team, backstage or helping with the refreshments, they were brilliant.

“We really hope that the total raised makes a difference to the children of Demelza House.”
