Two separate accidents cause traffic chaos on M25
TWO separate accidents caused traffic chaos on the M25 today.
Kent Police was called at around 11.05am to a report that a vehicle had collided with the central reservation on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junctions four and five.
Lanes one and two were blocked.
The incident involved a blue Volvo and the driver has been reported for careless driving.
There were no reported injuries.
A second collision occurred at around 11.45am at the same location involving a Volkswagen Golf and a Vauxhall Astra.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service removed one man from his vehicle.
One person was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be serious.
The M25 was closed in the clockwise direction from junction four and all lanes were fully reopened by around 1.45pm.
