CCTV released of suspected iPhone thieves

CCTV images have been released of two men suspected of stealing a passenger’s phone on a train.

British Transport Police (BTP) officers want to speak to the men in connection with an incident which happened as a train arrived at Catford station.

The victim, a 23-year-old man from Brockley, was on the train when two men got on at Bromley South and sat behind him.

They walked up and down the carriage and when it reached Catford one of the men, wearing a black hoody, snatched the victim’s iPhone out of his hands.

The other man, wearing light coloured clothing, opened the train doors and they got off and ran away at about 10.40pm on May 7 .

Anyone with information is asked to call the BTP on 0800 405040 and quote reference B12/LSA of 20/06/12 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

It,s about time these scoundrels were giving a jolly good trashing in public and ignore david camerons plea of "hug a hoody"... how about 6 strokes of the cane on their bare buttocks in public? i want front a row seat at any cost though! lol

Ohh bless them, the BNP boys want to play with Ron the Chopper. That's what my 'mates' called me after the Chelsea player, I could put it abaht in me day too I tell you. ;)

"I could put it about" yes you probably once could, but why don't you just accept you are way past it now sonny as there is nothing on here about the BNP, so perhaps dementia or some other age related illness is starting to kick in now!

Nothing on here about the Bnp some people must be getting paranoid.

Getting back to the levels of crime on the transport section it seems that you are just not safe using your iphone ( although i do and i'm constantly ready to take on these ignorant people if they try on with me, i keep 100% fit and you just never know what you dealing with if you try it on with me! ) but many people are being targetted and maybe a new police operation of using stooges riding on trains using iphones to entice these scum into mugging would snare the muggers?

...letting far too many people into this country has caused massive problems with more people chasing fewer jobs - it's not rocket science to predict an increase in crime in many areas... oh well, you get what you voted for!! people were shouted down and called 'bigots' for pointing this out - and now the labour party are saying... 'you're not a racist or a bigot for speaking about these issues now' well hello!! rofl!! we all knew it would go full circle!! even... We really need a government that will say enough is enough. No more **** footing around, no more 'slap on the wrists'. Hard punishment, serious deterants is what is required to stop this increase in crime. The situation is getting so bad that I think things will change soon. More and more people are turning away from the mainstream parties.
