Kids pull the punchez to keep fit
YOUNGSTERS have been boxing to boost fitness and help put some discipline in their lives.
Students from schools across Bromley completed the challenging 16 week 'Punchez' course at the Priory School in Orpington's specialist boxing academy.
They explained in a DVD what the scheme meant to them in terms of providing a better and more disciplined structure to their lives.
The youngsters were presented with certificates by chairman of the Safer Bromley Partnership Councillor Tim Stevens.
Cllr Stevens said: "I was impressed by the skills the students had gained in such a relatively short space of time; they had obviously worked hard. I am sure that learning the discipline necessary for this type of training, along with the health benefits, will prove useful to these young people in many ways throughout their lives."
