Open days at Orpington Bowls Club to attract new members
A BOWLING club is having two open days to promote the game and introduce people to the sport.
The first one at Orpington Bowls Club (OBC) is next (April 29) and the next is May 5 with both days running from 10am to 7pm.
All ages from eight to 80+ are welcome and the club in Goddington Park, Goddington Lane, Orpington, has two national coaches who will be able to offer free coaching sessions for beginners.
OBC spokesman Stuart Smith said: “Once you have had a go we are sure you will want to come back for more so come along and have a go and meet new friends and take part in a really enjoyable sport.”
