THE closing date for the 2012 Bromley Environment Awards is just days away and the council wants to hear about the great things you are doing for the environment.
Sponsored by News Shopper and Coolings, the awards recognise and reward all sorts of environmental initiatives in a variety of categories.
Winners will be invited to the summer awards ceremony, hosted by the mayor of Bromley, at the Civic Centre and will receive their prize from a special guest.
Last year’s guest, Tom Hart Dyke from the World Garden at Lullingstone Castle, said: "I was enthused by all the great things the people of Bromley were doing to make a difference to their surroundings and truly inspired by the fantastic sense of community evident at the awards ceremony."
The award categories are business, education, garden, green champion, green building, group, household and overall winner.
Entries must be in by Friday, April 20.
