A TEENAGER who plunged to her death from the 17th floor of a block of flats in Woolwich yesterday is believed to be a convicted robber called Shanise Paris-Goff.

The 18-year-old woman fell from a bedroom window at a flat in Hastings House, Mulgrave Road, shortly after two plain clothes police officers entered the home.

They were there to carry out an arrest inquiry as she had breached the terms of her licence.

Police have yet to officially name the woman but it is thought she is Ms Paris-Goff, from St Paul’s Cray, who was sentenced to three years behind bars for robbery and assault in May 2009.

Ms Paris-Goff, who is also known as Sherise Steabler, was released in April last year and her parole licence was revoked three months later because she had failed to register with her probation officer, which was part of her early release conditions.

Officers said the woman was alone in a bedroom, with the door half open, when she fell.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place today.

A man who was arrested at the time on suspicion of assisting an offender has been bailed to return to a south London police station in early June pending further enquiries.
