EGGSTRA special headgear was on display when pupils paraded their cracking creations in their school’s Easter bonnet parade.

The Bromley High Junior School girls and their parents had spent days putting their creative talents to the test by making unique hats.

Themes on display included bunny tennis matches, gigantic cracking eggs and a range of colourful lambs.

And every girl who wore a bonnet during the event at the school in Blackbrook Lane, Bickley, donated a pound to Brain Tumour Research to support work in finding cures for brain tumours.

The school’s headteacher Penny Jones said: “We are so proud of our girls and their families for going the extra mile to raise money for such a worthwhile cause whilst enjoying the challenge of millinery.”
