POLICE are making a fresh appeal for information to find the driver who left a grandmother paralysed after being run over in Bromley town centre.

Carol Bright, 58, was left paralysed from the neck down after she was run over by a Mercedes sprinter van in Churchill Way in September 2010.

Mrs Bright, who has two children and four grandchildren , spent 14 months at a specialist spine unit in north London before returning home to West Wickham in November.

She said: “I’m still finding life very difficult, I’m still in a wheelchair, still paralysed, This has ruined my life.

“I want to see justice done.”

Police would like to speak to Alexander Abimbola, 40, in connection to an allegation of dangerous driving and insurance offences.

Police believe he regularly attends church and may be working as a courier. He has links to south east London and Nigeria. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Bromley Police's CID on 020 8284 8859 or Crimewatch anonymously on 0800 55511.
