Street light ripped out of the ground in car crash in Franks Wood Avenue, Petts Wood

A MOTORIST is being interviewed by police after the car they were driving smashed into a street light in Petts Wood.

The light has been completely torn out of the ground in Franks Wood Avenue and electrical engineers are at the scene working to make it safe.

Emergency services were called at about 2pm and the driver of the vehicle is being interviewed about what happened.

It is not yet known whether the driver needed any medical treatment.
