A HOLOCAUST survivor visited The Priory School in Orpington as part of the sixth form’s annual spirituality conference.
Mala Tribich, originally from Poland, gave an hour-long talk on behalf of the Holocaust Educational Trust on the subject of peace and reconciliation, the theme of this year’s conference.
Mala came to Britain after the Second World War, having been in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany.
Having lost her mother and sister, she followed her brother to England in 1947 after finding he had survived the war and moved here.
The school's head of sixth form, Jon Ward, said: “We are honoured to have Mala take the time to visit us. The session really got the students thinking about the issues raised.”
