AN EXTRA meeting is being held for people to have their say about the looming cuts to the council’s budget.
It comes after three evening meetings were held in Orpington, Beckenham and Bromley, last month where top councillors listened to people’s priorities for the borough.
Topics at these events included the privisation of the home care service, social services and the Freedom Pass.
The extra meeting will take place on December 13 at the Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, from 10.30am to noon.
Council leader Councillor Stephen Carr said: “The aim is to talk about the enormity of the financial challenge.
“Locally, we believe we face a potential reduction in government grants of between £30m and £40m.”
