DETECTIVES are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a £1,800 pedal cycle stolen in a burglary.
The distinctive Hardrock Allez-Comp silver racing bike which is fitted with carbon forks, was taken from a garage next to a house in Hayes Street, Bromley between August 1 and 27.
It had recently been involved in a traffic collision and had sustained damage to the handlebars, which are bent.
A Bromley police spokesman said: “Bicycles are some of the easiest vehicles for thieves to target.
“In Bromley around 250 are reported stolen each year, with more than 18,000 reported stolen across London each year.”
Anyone with any information should call DC Lee Dunmore at Bromley police’s burglary squad on 020 8284 9964 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
