THE victim of a stabbing in Sydenham has been named.
Norman Barrett was stabbed at his home address. He was also known as Wadestone McCalla.
Emergency services were called to Lucas Court, off Winchfield Road, to reports of a man having been injured at around 3.20am on Sunday morning.
Paramedics treated the 46-year-old man but they could not save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old man will appear in court this morning (September 7) accused of stabbing a man to death in Sydenham.
Tobi Henry, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Sunday and charged with murder yesterday afternoon.
He will appear via virtual court at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court today.
