EMERGENCY services were called to a crash in Downham last night (July 27).
The accident between two cars happened at around 9.40pm at the junction of Whitefoot Lane and Bromley Road near the old Tiger’s Head pub.
One of the vehicles involved was believed to be a BMW but a London Fire Brigade spokesman says the front of the other car was too badly damaged to tell what it was.
At least one person was taken to hospital by ambulance but none of the injuries sustained by people in the accident are thought to be serious.
