GREEN STREET GREEN: Kitchen designer hopes to take top prize

A KITCHEN designer has his fingers crossed after reaching the finals of a national competition.

Ian Keane, of Pinchbeck Road, Green Street Green, finds out next Monday (March 22) whether he will be named young kitchen designer of the year at the Kbb Review Industry Awards 2010.

Former Ravens Wood School pupil Mr Keane went in for the competition after being encouraged to enter by his colleagues at Krieder.

He joined the design company in Tunbridge Wells in 2008.

The 25-year-old said: “I am very proud to have achieved the honour of reaching the final in such a short space of time, and feel it proves I have a natural flair for kitchen design.

“It was a complete surprise to learn that I had been named as a finalist.”

The Kbb Review Industry Awards is an annual kitchen and bathroom event of the Kbb Review magazine.
