A TORY councillor was ejected from the council chamber after defying the mayor during a debate.
In an unusual move Councillor Irene Buckley was ordered to leave after refusing to stay quiet while a Lib Dem opponent was talking.
The mayor, Councillor Catherine Rideout, became furious after telling Cllr Buckley to be quiet only for her to say: "I'm glad you've given me the opportunity to speak."
Cllr Buckley then refused several orders to sit down and was eventually told to leave the chamber.
The Bickley councillor was later allowed back in for the remainder of the meeting to discuss council tax.
