IT WAS a case of the wrong trousers when supermarket staff helped raise money for a children's charity.
Bosses at the Sainsbury's store in Beckenham High Street allowed staff to wear whatever trousers they liked for the day to help raise cash for Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation.
Staff made a donation to take part and also collected money from customers.
The event raised £137 for the foundation, which helps to improve the quality of life for children in hospitals and hospices nationwide.
Store manager Nick Barnes says the day was a great success and praised the fancy dress efforts of his staff.
He said: "Thank you to all our colleagues and customers for their donations to this very worthwhile charity."
