A COUPLE have donated £15,000 for a minibus to take disabled children on days out.
Ray and Yvonne Robson, of Tiepigs Lane, West Wickham, gave the money to youngsters, some of whom are autistic, at Alderwood Primary School, Rainham Close, Greenwich.
The minibus was presented by actor Daniel Casey, who played Sergeant Gavin Troy in Midsomer Murders and was in acclaimed drama Our Friends in the North.
It was provided by the Variety Sunshine Club, a charity for disabled and disadvantaged children, and will be used to take pupils on days out to amusement parks and other trips.
Mr Robson, 55, the managing director of Bromley-based Robsons Chartered Surveyors, said: "We hope this Sunshine coach will enable pupils at Alderwood School to have a wide-range of experiences."
