A hospital care manager is devastated after the motorbike she relied on to visit discharged patients was stolen.

Laurence Ve, 38, said her beloved bike was snatched from Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough on Friday, May 11.

She told News Shopper: "It was so important and I used it daily. It cost me seven grand. It was my freedom, especially when the weather was nice.

"It was my way of commuting to work and visiting patients."

Miss Ve said security told her the theft took 16 seconds after they reviewed CCTV footage.

She said security told her the bike was stolen from the back of the hospital half an hour before she finished her shift at 5.30pm.

"I was told four people stole it – two guys on a moped and two in a van. There was two bikes stolen that day."

Miss Ve informed police about the theft, but the bike remains missing.

Anyone with information on where the bike might be should call police on 101.
