MP Bob Neill has visited a primary school in St Paul's Cray after it was awarded an "outstanding" Ofsted report in all areas.
Midfield Primary School became the first school in the St Paul's Cray area to achieve a unanimously "outstanding" inspection.
The Bromley and Chislehurst MP visited the school to congratulate the staff and the pupils.
Afterwards he said he was struck by the motivation of the pupils.

The Ofsted inspection said the school's success was partly down to the "exceptional leadership" demonstrated by headteacher Gulcin Sesli.
The headteacher commented: "Achieving outstanding is testament to the whole school community. Our highly committed staff and governors work relentlessly to make sure our children receive a first-class education.
"This is combined with the excellent care we provide to meet all social and emotional health needs. We are all very proud of our inspection outcome."
Midfield Primary School was judged as "good" in the five Ofsted categories in its previous inspection in 2013.
Ofsted inspectors concluded that pupil behaviour was now "outstanding" and disadvantaged pupils were supported "extremely well".
