A man has died after collapsing in the road in Forest Hill.
Police were called at about 2.52am on Saturday, November 25, to Waldram Park Road, following reports of a man found lying in the road.
Officers attended with London Ambulance Service and found a man believed to be in his 40s.
He died just under an hour later. Police know who the man is but are awaiting formal identification.
Officers are working to establish why the man collapsed in the road and the possible involvement of any vehicle.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
