Police chased a vehicle they suspected was stolen
A driver crashed a suspected stolen car after a police chase and then fled.
Police said a vehicle failed to stop for them at about 3.50pm yesterday (November 14) in Castlecombe Road, Mottingham.
The suspect car was chased and it crashed in Elmstead Lane near Elmstead Woods.
A man, who is believed to have been a passenger, was arrested after he was found hiding in the garden of a nearby house.
Police are still searching for the driver after he ran off from the crash.
