Thames Water are doing emergency works at Elmstead Lane
Traffic is being diverted on a Chislehurst road following emergency water works.
Thames Water are fixing a burst water main at Elmstead Lane at the junction of St Keverne Road.
They began their repairs yesterday at 9.30am.
Traffic on Elmstead Lane is running under temporary two way signals.
Drivers wanting to exit St Keverne Road onto Elmstead Lane are being diverted via Wayside Grove and Offenham Road.
The roads are narrow in places, and so a second diversion is in place for traffic travelling from Elmstead Lane wanting to access St Keverne Road via Elmstead Lane, Mottingham Road, Dunkery Road and into St Keverne Road at the opposite end.
It is expected that the works will stay in place until the end of the week.
