Burglars used a moped to smash down the door of a children’s clothing shop in Farnborough.

Small World Children’s Clothing in Farnborough High Street was broken into at 3.14am on September 13.

CCTV footage shows two people trying to kick in the door to the shop.

They were unable to get in and so a third person drove a moped into the door, knocking it down.

The burglars then packed bags with designer children’s clothing, before fleeing on the moped.

A shop owner, who did not want to be named, said: “We are all gutted and heartbroken, you just think is it worth carrying on if they are going to come back and do it again? You feel so down.

“When we heard the news, we were just devastated. We got here as soon as we could. You can tell from the footage that these people don’t care.

“We can’t trade at the moment and if there are any problems with the insurance we’ll have to shut down.

“The police said they had a few leads so hopefully they will find them.”
