A man allegedly assaulted a police officer and was then tasered in Biggin Hill.
Police were called to an address on Hillcrest Road at 5.15pm on Sunday (September 10) after they receiving reports of a domestic harassment incident.
They were on scene when the 42 year-old suspect turned up. As he was being arrested he allegedly assaulted a police officer and tried to force his way into the house.
During the struggle officers fired a taser at him.
The suspect was taken to a police station in south London and is in custody. The officer who was assaulted continued working that day. Police did not say if the suspect had been charged.
Neither the officer or the suspect needed hospital treatment.
