London Biggin Hill Airport has announced a new Chief Financial Officer during an "interesting time" at the airport.

Gary Chapman will take over the role and will be responsible for financing projects and asset management.

Mr Chapman said: “I am delighted to be joining the airport at this incredibly interesting time and I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to help take the business to the next level of its success.”

The airport is currently preparing for this years Festival of Flight which will be on August 19 and 20 featuring an air show from the Red Arrows.

Will Curtis, Managing Director, London Biggin Hill Airport, said: “The airport has entered a period of fiscal growth, which has created some exciting and significant changes. Recent developments include our new 60,000sq ft. hangar and the construction of a 4-star hotel on the airport.”

Chapman has previously worked for Nippon Yusen Kaisha's Engergy Transport business and is a Chartered Accountant.
