Southern trains are expected to be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes until approximately midday due to a signalling fault at Selhurst station.
A faulty signalling cable caused a problem which prevented trains from leaving Selhurst train depot.
Southern is expecting severe disruption with many services cancelled in the London area and on the Uckfield and East Grinstead lines.
Network Rail technicians are on site and have repaired the cable and will remain on site and monitor the infrastructure.
During this time your service many be cancelled or altered.
Buses have been requested to run to/from Uckfield, Oxted and East Grinstead.
Your tickets will be accepted on the following routes:
- Southeastern between Tunbridge Wells and London and between Beckenham Junction and London
- South West Trains between Dorking and London Waterloo
- Tramlink between Beckenham Junction and Wimbledon
- London Underground on all reasonable routes
- London Buses between Croydon and London
- London Overground on all reasonable routes
- London Midland between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston
- Thameslink between Brighton and London St Pancras International and between Sutton / Wimbledon and London Blackfriars
- Gatwick Express between Brighton and London Victoria
- Brighton & Hove Buses route 29
- Metrobus between East Grinstead and Three Bridges
- Seaford and District services on route 228 and 229
