A park in Bromley is being transformed into a free cinema this August.

Your Bromley will set up the cinema in the Queen's Gardens in Kentish Way to show films on August 17, 18 and 19.

Many of the films will be family-friendly and there will be deckchairs, popcorn and a bar serving drinks.

Frances Forest, business improvement district manager, said: “We are committed to making Bromley town centre a great place to be, this summer and all year round.

“We hope our free movie screening events will be enjoyed by new and existing visitors to the area as we bring some cinema classics to the great outdoors.”
