An art club event is taking place in Crystal Palace as part of National Play Day.

The event will start at 2pm today (August 2) and will run for two hours. It will take place at the Paxton Centre on Anerley Hill, Crystal Palace.

Club sessions are running throughout August every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and cost £10, including materials.

National Play Day is traditionally held on the first Wednesday in August and seeks to protect childrens’ rights to play.

Playday is coordinated by Play England, in partnership with Play Wales, Play Scotland and PlayBoard Northern Ireland and was set up in 1986.
