A Bromley family whose ‘beloved’ cat went missing for two weeks has thanked News Shopper for its help in finding her.

Tifa, a six-year-old tabby cat, went missing from Turpington Lane, Bromley, on July 4 to the utter dismay of the Lahouag family.

Mum Janet contacted us and we posted a story appealing to the public to help find Tifa.

Members of the community went above and beyond to help and she was found two weeks later.

Janet said: “We would like to say thank you to The News Shopper for helping us to be reunited with our beloved Tifa who went missing for two weeks.

“We'd like to say a very big thank you to Elizabeth in Sunningdale Road who called us with the first sighting, without her we would never have known where Tifa went.

“We would also like to thank Keith in Burford Road for reading Tifa's missing article in the News Shopper and calling us with the sighting that lead to her homecoming, and last but not at all least Dot whose conservatory we were able to sit in and watch Tifa emerge from the bushes of her back garden.

“We can't quite believe that she is home yet, that every time we look at her we smile, it's getting a little easier to believe every day.”
