Suspect threw wheelie bins at officers in police chase
A suspected criminal reportedly threw wheelie bins at Greenwich officers during a police chase.
Officers from Greenwich Gangs Unit spotted a man wanted on warrant on Friday at about 12.40pm.
The man ran away and police say he threw bins in "an attempt to avoid being arrested" but was detained nearby.
Police say he was found to be concealing a large amount of suspected Class A drugs and was arrested.
He remains in custody in a south London police station.
