Aspiring photographers can enter this year's Biggin 100 Airport Photo Competition.

The competition, which is in it's third year, is open to amateur photographers of all ages.

This year's theme is the centenary year of the airport and the two day Festival of Flight on August 19 and 20.

Will Curtis, airport Managing Director, encourages members of the local community to use their cameras to record their view of airport life and activity in the centenary year.

He said: “We have seen some inspiring entries submitted over the first three years of this competition which has encouraged us to continue to promote it. In this year of our centenary, there will be new and different opportunities at the two-day Festival of Flight in August and on every spring and summer day as seen from the enclosure at The Lookout Café.

"We want to see the pictures that you are particularly proud of”.

Entries can be submitted either by e-mail to photo@bigginhillairport.com or by mail to Photo Competition, Biggin Hill Airport, Terminal Building, Main Road, Biggin Hill TN16 3BH.
