A former West Ham winger will appear in court charged with fraud offences.
Blair Turgott, 22, has been charged with fraud by false representation and money laundering.
He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on April 28.
Turgott, of Ravensmead Road, Bromley, joined the Hammers’ youth and development squad at the age of eight.
After a series of short loan stays at Bradford City, Colchester United, Rotherham United and Dagenham and Redbridge, and a season at Leyton Orient, he ended up playing for National League side Bromley FC.
