Gold-toothed Beckenham record spinner DJ Talent has slammed X Factor contestant Honey G for "ripping off" his lyrics.

The Britain's Got Talent veteran made his name on the show in 2009 and got through to the semi-finals despite three buzzers going off in his first round.

And now he is hitting out at Honey with claims she plagiarised his single-verse rhyme 'When I say Britain, you say Talent, Britain's Got Talent, it's the DJ Talent'.

He told the Sun: "I wrote that track from my heart.

"It was for the people of Great Britain and the nation.

"What she's done is use my catchphrase to big herself up and I don't think it's fair.

"I'm the artist! I wrote the song and I produced the record, I made a track out of this and this is a published piece of music.

"She's getting publicity for using my work."

DJ Talent, who previously confessed to News Shopper that he had feelings for Susan Boyle, said: “She’s ripped off Dr Dre’s California Love to rap over the instrumental.

“Technically she can do that, but ITV will have to pay him for the honour.”

He added: “To be called an artist you have to be producing records, you have to be making music, you have to have your music published and licensed.

“You’ve got famous on TV by using ‘I say Honey, you say G’.”
